Like most, I watched her deliver her poem in awe. I have been stalking Amanda all over the Internet and watching every interview on every media outlets ever since. She will go far. She makes me proud to have once been a little, skinny black girl that descended from slaves. Bravo, Amanda!

The fashion of the evening was what I expected inauguration fashion, during a pandemic to be - subdued. The only exception, was Michelle Obama. She looked like a tall glass of fresh cranberry juice with ice on a summer day. She radiated at every turn. How do you pay attention at an inauguration with Michelle Obama in the room?
